Impressions of the virtual world
While visiting the virtual Umuofia i saw the village where the story things fall apart takes place.and showed a lot of the characteristics that were mentioned in the novel, such as the clay and grass huts and how the village is set up. the virtual world showed a typical african village the people seemed to have limited to no technology at all, the people had very typical tribal or african clothing made out of grasses and animal skins.I also saw a picture of the kola nut which was very important to their ceremoniesin the story and i was surprised because it was nothing what i had pictured it like. The music and pictures of the masks really gave me a feel for the culture of the people because artwork an music is what really embodies a ceratin culture. The drums were a prominent instrument that i heard in all of the links i went to.They gave off an indigenous, tribal sort of savage feeling. The music made me feel like i was on the safari at disney's animal kingdom.
